Burkina Faso has until recently remained an under explored greenstone province. This area has geology particularly familiar to the Credo Australian based geology team as Western Australia hosts a number of major greenstone belts which have produced tens of millions of ounces of gold plus also hosts significant nickel and base metal deposits. There have been numerous recent discoveries in Burkina Faso as a result of new work and Credo has recently completed its maiden drilling program testing three prospects on three permits.
